About

Foreword

Available for Hire

I am a Graphic Designer, Publisher and UX Designer. I create conceptual design and undertake corporate work that spans across print, web and mobile channels.

My background of a Bachelor of Arts in Design for Publishing and a Masters in Communication Design allowed me the freedom to pursue complex issues within our culture, for example: newspaper sensationalism, film piracy, de-humanising war infographics with a strong focus on theory and methodology as a process to create original, experimental and thought provoking ideas.

Since graduating from University, I’ve spent the last six months designing and overseeing the UX/UI design of web and an app/social mobile game for Second Screen Games, a studio in San Francisco. Working closely with the art director, Co-founder and engineers, my time was spent learning how to integrate interface and interaction design for web and mobile platforms, as well as designing pitches and presentations for investors. During that period, I have also art directed and illustrated a poetry book for an author. This book is currently being published and will be sold in February with proceeds donated to Cancer Research.

With two degrees and industry experience working on app and digital platforms, I am very versatile in my approach to suit different projects. Completing a multitude of subjects has allowed me to develop a diverse range of creative processes.
